Scholarship

The major reason for students dropping out of school is due to financial difficulties from their families. Many families are trapped in a cycle of poverty.

HECF runs its scholarship projects to support education to poor needy children and to help poor families with financial difficulties.

Our scholarship programme runs for 12 years support for individual students. For each students will have their own bank account and insurance covered with Lukla Investment Bank. The savings will help to support the students for further education in due course.

The top 3 students of Lukla Lower Secondary School will also receive extra payment for their studies as part of the scholarship programme.

HECF is currently supporting 28 needy children with its scholarship projects.
