Year End Update

As 2009 almost comes to the end. I would like to highlight what we have done during the year.

2009 had been our first year of operation. Our charity is doing well and what we have achieved so far including:

* Supporting 12 poor children and their families in Lukla

* 4 Additional children in Kathmandu

* Regular donations to help with items such as school bags, uniforms, stationeries, educational materials.

* Annual scholarship to the top 10 students in the local school in Lukla.

During 2009 our funding came from:

* Fundraising activities in Australia and Switzerland

*Donations from our donators

*Julie Lam spoke at various Rotary Clubs which had resulted in some generous donations from the Rotaries

Thank You to everyone who have supported our charity. Without your help HECF would not be able to help provide education and improve the lives of the children we support.
